It's a colorful world - make your mark by joining the BIC team today. **Overview:** As a **Senior Plant Maintenance Manager** you will be responsible for leading the technical team in the Charlotte Operations (Distribution Center, Packaging and Manufacturing) across a 2-shift operation, creating a culture of operational excellence. You will provide technical direction and leadership to a team of Maintenance Supervisor and Facility Specialist and indirect staff of electricians, master mechanics, machinists, set-up operators, facilities team, outside vendors and the operations team. You will also lead the execution of all capital investment projects including Commissioning, Qualification, Validation. All these responsibilities will be carried out in a manner that consistently demonstrates the established visions and values of the company. **Main Responsibilities:** + Lead technical staff and personnel ensuring overall equipment readiness to support the business operational demands in terms of customer service, safety, quality and cost. + Directs all aspects of maintenance, engineering, project management and capital execution between $700,000-$7,000,000. + Provides direct oversight and direction for overall facilities needs to include outside vendor management with the day-to-day support of the Facilities Specialist. + Advises and oversees budgetary spending related to parts, maintenance related services and equipment. + Partners with the leadership team in planning, budgeting, organizing resources, executing work plans, monitoring production and quality, coordinating priorities, resolving issues and participating in special projects and work schedules. + Coordinates preventive maintenance activities through planning and governance with departmental managers to ensure the total operational objectives are accomplished quickly and cost-effectively. + Develops strategic initiatives to reduce costs and improve current processes (i.e. equipment research and development, process improvements, etc.). + Ensures a successful operation in terms of supporting the business and developing technical skills. + Delivers expected results through supporting operations team by equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. **Qualifications** **:** + Bachelor’s degree in engineering required with proven experience in manufacturing or production environment, MBA preferred + Between 5-10 years' experience in a highly technical position within a manufacturing environment; a minimum of 5 years leading technical projects as a subject matter expert + Minimum of 5 years' experience in PLC programming and troubleshooting experience + Minimum of 5 years' experience installation and repair of electrical and mechanical systems, apparatus, and components of industrial machinery and equipment, following electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints + Minimum of 5 years of electronical & mechanical experience with manufacturing equipment + Ability to modify equipment and/or processes to achieve Principal Objective + Direct outside contractors in installation of machines and equipment following electrical code, supplier's recommendations, and blueprints + Digital controls troubleshooting experience + Must demonstrate a high technical in multiple areas of production and manufacturing equipment + Ability to use Auto-CAD and other tools + Ability to effectively lead people leaders in a fast-paced environment; including development, performance evaluations, and succession planning + Ability to demonstrate a well-rounded business acumen attitude and willingness to jump in as needed to technically support the onsite teams + Experience in managing large capital purchases and capabilities of potential caption from a technological standpoint, strategy, and hiring decisions BIC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
