About the Role:
The North American Open Data Platform team is looking for an experienced Platform Product Manager to help with the evolution of our open data platform with a strong focus on open banking, data interoperability, and empowering our products with enriched data and insights. Reporting to the VP of Product, you will integrate Data Providers and Data Access Platforms into our open data platform ensuring operational readiness, and following standards and processes for data-driven products. You have experience communicating complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences and, share platform requirements across multiple teams. Responsibilities include integrations to third-party data providers and internally delivering consent-based data-driven platform capabilities like enrichments and insights.
Responsibilities:
+ You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to gather and validate requirements for the Open Data Platform (may include Data Science, Enrichments, Integrations, Core Platform Services and Analytics).
+ Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across teams to ensure project success.
+ You can analyze complex business and system requirements; create workflow charts and diagrams; document platform specifications.
+ You will work with Agile development teams to write user stories, address edge cases, and assist with validation before deployment.
+ You can ensure that platform capabilities meet business and technical product requirements and quality standards.
+ Balance platform needs with internal data recipient requirements and external data vendor offerings.
+ Facilitate requirements gathering from product teams, architecture, engineering, and data vendors.
+ Partner with engineering and data science teams to integrate data products using GenAI/LLM models.
+ Maintain operational performance metrics and KPIs for the platform and supported data models. Report on the performance of machine learning models and services hosted by our platforms.
+ Work with operations, compliance, and infosec teams to ensure platform compliance with internal standards.
+ Enhance data quality, consistency, and accessibility through data enrichment initiatives.
+ Develop governance features to comply with data privacy regulations and evolving requirements.
+ Integrate and maintain connections with data providers and access platforms. Establish new data connections with external providers.
+ Manage platform consent services used by multiple products.
+ You will align platform projects with our goals while ensuring regulatory and security compliance.
+ You have experience with financial APIs, data security, authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect), and cloud infrastructure.
+ You are experienced in driving data integrations requirements from third-party sources.
+ You can read and analyze API specifications.
+ Proficiency in reading and writing JSON with tool assistance.
+ Experience with data mapping and transformations.
+ Experience working with AI-driven consumer products.
+ Visualize data integration usage by downstream products.
+ Experience working with data science teams on model building, testing, and performance measurement.
+ Work with diverse remote teams across multiple time zones.
+ Knowledge of open data standards, data integration, enrichment, and governance practices.
+ Experience with data access platforms, data APIs, or data exchange technologies.
+ Experience with open banking ecosystems, financial data aggregators, or BaaS (Banking-as-a-Service) platforms.
+ Background in software engineering, financial data infrastructure, or API product management
+ Familiarity with cloud services and data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
+ Knowledge of data analytics, data science, or data engineering principles.
+ Familiarity with consent management and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
+ Agile Certified Product Owner.
+ You have a Bachelor's degree in information technology, Data Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience working in data product management, working with sensitive or regulated data.
+ 5+ years of product management experience with at least 2 years in financial services, open banking, or data-driven products
