This hybrid position is based in NYC and is ideal for candidates with 4+ years of experience and a passion for both design and leadership.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead plumbing and fire protection design across all project phases—from schematic design through construction administrationMentor junior engineers and provide redline feedbackCoordinate with internal teams and external consultantsAttend and contribute to client meetingsEnsure quality assurance of technical documentation and drawing setsSolve design challenges using sound engineering judgmentQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering fieldMinimum of 4 years of plumbing and fire protection design experienceProficiency in AutoCAD and RevitStrong understanding of system sizing, flow, and pressure calculationsFamiliarity with diverse building types and occupanciesExcellent communication and client-facing skillsEIT or PE certification preferredWork Environment & BenefitsHybrid schedule: 1–2 remote workdays per weekOffice hours: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM or 8:30 AM–5:30 PMAverage employee tenure: 12+ yearsRecognized as one of NYC’s Best Places to Work (two years in a row)Comprehensive benefits, generous PTO, and a culture of belongingJoin Us

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $60.00/hr.
