Senior PMO Consultant

   

 

Are you experienced working in a programme management office and knows what it takes to support the organisation to succeed with high complex IT Projects that inter-sects with OT? Have you seen it all and are looking for a new place to bring all that in play?  Then you might be the new Senior PMO Consultant we are looking for.

We are on an exciting journey in rolling out EWM, a Warehouse Management System, together with PAS-X, a manufacturing system at various sites in Novo Nordisk and you will have the opportunity to play a vital role in securing production efficiency, speed and scalability for the next many years.
As Senior PMO Consultant you will be working with the existing PMO team to continue developing and maturing the programme and all the needed PMO disciplines & govern-ance, also at the management level. 

 

Your responsibilities will include:
•    Oversee the successful delivery of complex projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
•    Develop and maintain project management methodologies, tools, and templates to enhance project execution and ensure consistency across the organization.
•    Provide strategic guidance to project managers and teams, offering expertise in risk management, issue resolution, and resource allocation to drive project success.
•    Fostering a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and best practice dissemination within the PMO.

 

What we scout for
To be successful in this role, we require you meet most of the following:
•    Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT, engineering, supply chain management or other relevant field
•    Strong project management skills (including stakeholder management skills, pro-ject budgeting, presentation skills, governance skills and communication skills)
•    You must have a proven track record of successfully working as PMO or similar role, with minimum 5 years of relevant experience
•    Pharma industry knowledge is a clear advantage 
•    Experience with establishing and driving governance, financial disciplines, risk management etc.

You are known to get the job done, while keeping a good relationship to stakeholders and colleagues and are open to adapt to changes around you. It is evident that you have a proven track record of delivering results and business value in your previous jobs.

 

The team waiting for you 
The area, WPX is anchored in DD&IT Product Supply, and is focused on implementing SAP EWM – an Enterprise Warehouse Management System, in collaboration with PAS-X, a MES system that is part of the global standard of manufacturing systems across Novo Nordisk. 

The WPX programme is a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing our global manufactur-ing and warehouse operations through the deployment of advanced digital solutions. By leveraging cutting-edge technology, WareX and PAS-X aims to improve operational effi-ciency, streamline processes, and ensure seamless integration across our manufacturing process and into our supply chain activities. The goal is to enhance our ability to deliver high-quality products to patients around the globe, while maintaining the highest stand-ards of safety and compliance.

The team is primarily located in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area), Denmark and work together with our Product Supply colleagues, meaning that you will get to work closely with the users and technologies that drive our global manufacturing processes to the next level.
