The mission of the Quality and Business Performance Improvement (QBPI) sector is to orchestrate the portfolio definition of business improvement programs at ASML level, its prioritization based on customer and business impact, and its execution with the different sectors across ASML. It will focus on end-to-end processes, requiring to look across organizational boundaries, and considering the entire flow creating value for the customer. As Program Management Officer (PMO) within QBPI, you proactively drive world class project and program management into ASML’s culture to enable successful business performance improvement activities across all sectors to meet ASML's strategic ambitions.
Role and responsibilitiesThe QBPI Senior PMO is owner of the BPI scheduling competence and responsible for supporting ASML’ s prioritized initiatives to make sure they are able to provide timely and accurate scheduling information to secure effective decision making on master planning. As Senior PMO, you pro-actively assist the QBPI Program Management team to optimize business value by:
Providing support in structuring strategy initiatives into an overall planning structure, scheduling framework
Setting-up, arranging training materials and facilitating workshops to train stakeholders in our scheduling processes
Creating what is needed, not necessarily what is being asked
Driving effective decision making on all levels (challenging the triple constraint), including accurate reporting & metrics
Define and drive the critical path analysis
Driving effective communication and/or escalations on the issues/risks and the required contingency/mitigation actions to the stakeholders;
Providing input and advice during the portfolio rebalancing process
When needed to be able to roll up data, analyze data, report and distil key information on milestones and deliverables, planning, actuals and delays, be able to challenge and advise
Contribute to the knowledge build-up of the department PMO. Current focus is to setup the scheduling framework within the program with specific initiative focus. This role will be extended by making this the standard for all QBPI Initiatives
Leading and executing initiatives to increase the BPI Program maturity with special focus on program management tooling and processes, towards integration of program planning
Education and experienceBachelor or Master degree, preferably in Business Engineering or Technical Business Administration
Minimum of 5 years working experience as a hands-on PMO officer for complex programs and projects in a dynamic and innovative (high-tech) organization
Expert knowledge in the area of scheduling, setting up scheduling frameworks, implementing ways of working and processes in the area of program and project scheduling is a must
Comfortable working with the following tools is a must: Microsoft Project Online, Excel (e.g. pivot tables, Power Query and potentially Power BI)
Certified in Prince2, IPMA-D, IPMA PMO, PM-Bok or similar and/or Lean/Agile methodology is a plus
Ability to work with Spotfire (TIBCO) is a plus
