AWS Marketplace is a key part of the Sales, Marketing and Global Services (SMGS) organization, that is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

Key job responsibilities
The AWS Marketplace team is looking for a Senior Product Manager - Technical to lead the Procurement & Governance experience for customers.

- Lead product requirements, define features, and work closely with product managers, UX designers, and software engineers to deliver those features, including leading go-to-market strategies.

- Develop a strategy and roadmap to drive a long-term plan for how AWS Partners and Marketplace can enjoy a best-in-class customer experience.

- Be a subject matter expert on how customers procure and govern their software purchases.

- Own externally facing applications (and APIs) used daily by thousands of AWS Partners and customers to run their businesses.

- Interface directly with internal stakeholders and external AWS Customers and Partners at a strategic, prioritization, and technical level.

- Communicate effectively to all levels within the company, both in writing and in meetings.

- Engage with various customer personas including AWS customers, sellers, channel partners, and internal AWS service teams to improve our customer experience.
