Senior Portfolio Analyst - 12 Month Fixed Term

It’s an exciting time to grow your career with ING, Australia’s most recommended bank, in 2025. We have a new opportunity for a Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our high-profile Transformation and Change team.

You’ll play a key role in our Strategic Portfolio Management & Analytics team supporting Portfolio, Program and Project managers to imbed ING financial governance in accordance with defined process tooling requirements. You’ll support the wider Change & Transformation department with operational project management tasks through best-in-class practices.

This position is a12 Month Fixed Term role based in Sydney.

What you’ll do

Provide transparency on cost, benefits & resource plans (budget – forecast – actual) for all initiatives and ensure alignment of portfolio CAPEX: OPEX ratio to Dynamic planEnsure alignment with GL, local SNOW and Global SNOWSupport Project Managers in vendor management practices and liaise with procurement to embed efficient approval, tracking and capture processesEnsure the resourcing details (including on-boarding and off-boarding details) are accurate, including FTE reconciliations embedded in rolling forecasts (RFC) Be the conduit between local delivery teams ServiceNow (SNOW) updates and global instance for Red, Amber & Green (RAG) statuses and milestone updates

What we’re looking for

Tertiary qualification in Business, Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience3-5 years’ experience in Project Management, PMO or Finance analytics is desirableStrong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organisation including externa partners/vendorsExcellent attention to detail with the ability to effectively manage tasks through to resolutionStrong understanding of the Financial Industry and governance frameworks
