Senior Portfolio Analyst

LCS is hiring for a Senior Portfolio Analyst, a critical member of the of LCS Real Estate team. The Real Estate team serves as the LCS owner representative for the portfolio of communities in which LCS has an equity position.  The Senior Portfolio Analyst is primarily responsible for assisting the Senior Manager – Portfolio Analysis & Reporting with the identification, development and execution of portfolio strategies and providing benchmarking analysis, property valuation analysis, monthly/quarterly/annual reporting, investor presentations, financial modeling, fund performance reporting, and special projects as needed. 

The Senior Portfolio Analyst will also be a key collaborator within the Asset and Performance Management/Investments/Capital Markets teams and will be responsible for creating robust portfolio and community level reporting and analysis, collaborating with the Asset and Performance Management team to identify and track value creation opportunities across the portfolio, and streamlining and enhancing existing tools and processes.

The Senior Portfolio Analyst must be a flexible self-starter and be capable of managing and prioritizing their individual workload to ensure delivery of appropriate information by the required due date.

The Role: 

Supports analysis and reporting efforts that span the LCS Real Estate portfolio Performs comprehensive financial analysis related to the business Develop and maintain analytical dashboard reporting for the Asset Management department Benchmarking analysis and reporting Long range financial modeling (5 – 10 year horizon) Analyze portfolio and identify revenue enhancement and cost saving opportunities in areas such as taxes/utilities, operating expenses, and agreement terms at the site level Complete analytical and fact gathering data on real estate portfolio projects Assists with driving the accountability to key performance metrics across the portfolio Respond to data requests from internal and external sources Aggregates standardized APM reporting into a functional database to be used for historical analysis, market/industry evaluation, and projections Supports the reporting that gives senior leadership visibility into the performance of the LCS Real Estate portfolio Collaborates with Senior Manager, Directors, and other Real Estate team on key strategic initiatives This individual must be able to work as part of a team that includes the functional areas of portfolio finance, asset management, acquisitions, research and marketing/client service Assist with special projects as necessary Create, test and deploy analytical reporting as required, to internal and external parties

Experience and Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related field Two years relevant experience preferred, but not required Knowledge of senior living industry is a plus

Knowledge and skills:

Demonstrated financial acumen and ability to draw conclusions and present analytical findings and interpretations in a clear and thoughtful manner. Ability to work effectively with a wide range of people including accounting, asset management, operations, information technology, and all levels of LCS personnel. Analytical problem-solver with the ability to think creatively and outside of the box. Proficient with Microsoft products (Excel, Word, etc.) including a strong handle on Excel and willingness to learn. Should include Database proficiency. Flexible and able to handle multiple responsibilities, prioritize work schedules, and complete tasks by desired due dates. Strong time management and organizational skills with willingness to work additional hours as needed to meet organizational deadlines.  Exceptional teamwork and ability to collaborate with others to accomplish enterprise-wide activities.  Strong written and verbal communication skills, including developing and leading key presentations to all audience levels.

Travel Frequency: 0-10%

Estimated Salary Range: $83,200 - $104,000

The actual title and salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and other relevant factors.
