Job Title

Being part of the Mobility and Travel Protection Unit the role will:

- Oversee the overall Mobility and Travel Protection portfolio of Products and Services, and to define the Portfolio strategy

- Identify, evaluate, and secure Diversification projects across the Mobility and Travel Protection lines of business, supporting the overall revenue growth.

The position has a key contributor role in defining and executing the Long Term Strategy & Vision for Mobility and Travel Protection and to position Amadeus Mobility & Travel Protection as the top B2B solutions in the industry.

Main responsibilities

1. Portfolio Management

Responsible for overseeing the overall Mobility and Travel Protection portfolio of Products and Services (including Product P&L) and to define the Portfolio strategy and long-term goals (including sunsetting of Products and Services and the diversification of the portfolio).

2. Diversification

Responsible for identifying, evaluating, and securing business diversification opportunities beyond the traditional Distribution Business, across the Mobility and Travel Protection lines of business by working with Amadeus Ventures and M&A teams, with the wider Hospitality team (i.e., Cars, Transfers & Travel Protection for hoteliers), the Airline IT & Navitaire teams, and with any other non-traditional Amadeus travel seller segment.

3. Long Term Strategy & Vision

Working with Corporate & Hospitality Strategy, Development teams, industry organizations, providers, travel sellers, and key partners to ensure an in-depth understanding of industry trends, competitors, providers, and travel seller long-term strategies and future needs, to contribute to the long-term strategy and goals for Mobility & Travel Protection, to ensure that both product verticals will remain relevant in the respective industry and will continue to contribute to the overall growth of Amadeus.

4. Mobility & Travel Protection Positioning

Key contributor to position Amadeus Mobility & Travel Protection as the top B2B solutions in the industry and to further strengthen the position through innovation and thought leadership, using all external communication vehicles and speaking opportunities at industry events.

About the ideal candidate

- University Degree in Business and/or Marketing. MBA preferred.

- Experience in Portfolio Management / Strategy roles with expertise in diversification (business expansion thru innovation).

- Knowledge of the Car Rental, Transfer, Travel Insurance, and/or Travel Industry; Online Channel or Airline business is a significant advantage.

- Effective communication, presentation, building relations and analysis skills.
