**Description** **Location:** **On site at the location listed in the job posting** **Summary** This opportunity is within our Correspondent Services – Wholesale Banking Group and is located in Memphis, TN. Responsible for proactively managing assigned portfolio of domestic financial institution relationships by identifying trends and alerting management to changes in portfolio conditions. Partners with Relationship Managers and Leadership to finalize credit package terms; provides guidance on risk and risk ratings, recommends credit structure, prepares proposals, and evaluates alternative credit structures. Contributes to the overall development of profitable, long-term banking relationships. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** + Independently prioritizes new credit requests, renewals, and servicing events; provides initial risk rating and recommends appropriate credit structure; provides guidance on policy issues and risk ratings. + Prepares approval, commitment, proposal document, including the identification of covenants and other key provisions. + Participates in or leads team or client meetings. + Interacts with clients during due diligence and partners with RM as part of team-based approach to finalize credit package terms and documentation on transactions. + Leads the legal documentation process. + Meets individual and team production goals. **Supervisory Responsibilities** + No supervisory responsibilities **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s Degree with 7 or more years experience required. + Experience analyzing financial institutions is preferred but not required. + In-depth knowledge of commercial credit analysis, underwriting, and documentation. + Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel is highly desired. + Occasional overnight travel is required. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Strong organizational skills **About Us** First Horizon Corporation is a leading regional financial services company, dedicated to helping our clients, communities and associates unlock their full potential with capital and counsel.
