What You Will Do:

Identifies and incorporates improvements to guidelines and processes to enhance client operations and outcomes in areas of financial management, workforce development initiatives, and PPBE processes, as requestedLeads client and team discussions to influence processesCommunicates with clients or external stakeholders on matters related to financial management practices and solutionsRelies on experience to develop approaches to client solutions within Defense financial management operating environmentLeads teams or workstreams to develop client-ready recommendations and work productsCoaches and reviews the work of lower-level consultantsResponsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise or lower-level consultants (without direct reporting relationships)Manages projects or workstreams to meet schedule, cost, scope, and quality goals and standardsProvides knowledge of policies and procedures within financial management and PPBE processesUnderstands advanced management approaches such as, prioritizing, coaching and process executionSupports business growth opportunities, including proposals, whitepapers, and other capture activities, in service of account growth goals


What You Will Need:

Ability to obtain and maintain a SECRET federal security clearance(TEN) 10+ years of relevant experience  Bachelor’s Degree(TEN) 10+ years' experience working or consulting with the Department of Defense


What Would Be Nice To Have:

Master’s Degree in a related discipline(TEN) 10+ years of experience in (relevant field)An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET security clearanceAnalytical and critical thinking skillsExperience with the PPBE processDeep understanding of DoD budget execution and accountingExperience working or consulting with the Secretary of the Air Force Financial Management and Comptroller (SAF/FM)(TEN) 10+ years of experience consulting or working for governmentCertification in a related field (e.g., financial management, project management)(FIVE) 5+ Years experience with project management tools and methodologiesAbility to adapt quickly and respond promptly to new information and changing scope in various environmentsAdvanced proficiency with common office software tools (e.g., MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across all levels of businessStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExperience developing and redesigning processes to meet evolving business requirementsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levelsDemonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and contribute as a team memberAbility to work independently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
