If this resonates with you, come join us at the Home of Guinness. **About the Role** The purpose of this role is to deliver market-leading cultural plans for Diageo Brand Homes, integrating best in class thinking and strategy through PR, experiences, partnerships and outstanding storytelling which will insert our brands in the right space into culture. This role presents a unique opportunity for someone with a real passion and flair for PR and embedding brands in culture to work on Ireland’s number one visitor experience, the Guinness Storehouse, as well as the exciting Roe & Co Distillery and the innovative experimental brewery Guinness Open Gate Brewery. This role is a busy and integral part of the marketing team and is required to work collaboratively within the team but also with additional internal stakeholders including innovation, visitor experience, retail and brand teams. This role requires advanced specialist knowledge of how culture, PR and media directly impact business objectives, and the effectiveness of building a long-term brand strategy. Issues management is a critical part of this role and the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in navigating issues/crises communication and managing stakeholders through this process. This role requires active knowledge of earned, paid and digital media, and how to optimally harness these to deliver impact. This role needs to be a capable and autonomous project manager, proactively delivering exceptional work, seeking new opportunities and delivering M&E to demonstrate effectiveness. This role requires active knowledge of the trends and culture of the drinks, travel, leisure and experience industries. **Location** Location is based at the Guinness Storehouse, but movement is required to attend all Diageo Ireland Brand Homes as work requires. Current policy is 3 days a week in office, 2 days a week flexible. Attendance at off-site agency/stakeholder meetings required. Some flexibility required for evening and weekend work as campaign activations and events require. **You will be responsible for:** + Lead the agenda in setting the strategies that position our brands in culture in a way that builds the brand and delivers on business objectives + Execute culture plans at scale with a strong vision on relevancy to generate heightened advocacy and talkability with core audiences + Work with partner agencies to identify cultural opportunity spaces, shape cultural narratives, joined up with brilliant media plans to insert our brands into culture and position them as local icons. + Lead the agenda in setting the right partnerships (brands, agencies, media, influencers, events, etc) to build a cross-channel ecosystem around our brands, creating connections with consumers at scale. + Be a culture leader internally and externally, inspiring the wider Irish Brand Home team in building culture capability and fluency **Leadership Responsibilities:** + This role reports into the Head of Commercial Growth and has two direct reports. + The role requires close collaboration with the marketing team, but also regular liaison with the digital and commercial growth, innovation, visitor experience, facilities, finance and Leadership teams. + Additional key internal stakeholders are the brand’s marketing team, consumer planners and design lead to ensure brand home activity is aligned with brand objectives. + Key external stakeholders include industry bodies such as Tourism Ireland, Failte Ireland as well as a number of agency partners. This role is required to proactively identify collaborative partnership opportunities with culture agencies, influencers and organisations. **To be successful in this role, you will need:** + 8+ years’ experience with strong evidence that you have created and executed breakthrough plans and results by building brands in culture + Strong understanding of the media landscape in Ireland, with expansive PR experience including issues communications. + Constantly curious about consumers; have a deep understanding of consumer behaviour and culture + Understanding of the agency landscape, and experience in managing agency partners + A collaborative team player who enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment. + Strong personal accountability for great performance and high standards **Working with Us** Flexibility is key to success in our business and many of our people work flexibly in many different ways, including part-time, compressed hours, flexible location.
