Exemption Status: Exempt

Salary Range: $132,300.00 - $159,050.00  

*As required under NYC Human Rights Law Int 1208-2018 - Salary range for this role when Hired for NYC Offices 

Position Summary

Plan, direct and control business affairs and administrative functions.  Assist section Chiefs in maintaining effective communication with medical staff to ensure consistent implementation of established policies and procedures, and to improve patient care. Works with management specifically with marketing efforts and budget preparation and planning.

Job Responsibilities Works with management specifically with marketing efforts and budget preparation and planning. Assists in development and implementation of gift and donation strategy. Ensures maximum exposure, marketability and promotional opportunities. Develops and implements policies, procedures, systems and best practices to ensure office efficiency. Oversees training provided to staff in office systems and procedures. Develops business plans to create and design space; monitors capital budget, and oversees project costs. Assists with various departmental special projects; provides guidance and feedback to support staff and providers about results of the following:Meaningful Use, Inside Access and Mystery Caller Surveys. Initiates, develops statistical data reports to analyze sectional practice activities for monitoring budget to actual performance measures, billing compliance, and clinical outcomes. Prepares analyses and reports summarizing findings and recommendations. Manages annual and operating budgets; develops financial and strategic models for short and long-term planning; oversees implementation of planning decisions. Oversees and coordinates efficient utilization of OR time and clinical space. Creates, implements and refines daily provider schedules; Ensures all scheduling needs are addressed. Oversees clinical operations. Identifies and recommends operational enhancements and efficiencies to reduce costs and increase efficiency and quality. Responsible for staff management activities including hiring, discipline and staff development. Education Bachelor's Degree in related field Experience

10 years health care management experience. Experience in Financial Analysis and Budgeting. Supervisory experience

Master's degree preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with overlapping deadlines. Excellent Interpersonal Skills. Demonstrated leadership in development an managing position requirements including the ability to supervise and motivate staff and develop performance measures to maximize productivity and work quality.
