Job overview

The Senior Pre-Sales Engineer, effectively a Service Solution Architect, is a client-focused financial services industry professional working closely with sales, internal service delivery and pricing teams in finance. The primary objective of this role is to provide pre-sales support with customer centric service solution design and integration due diligence to ensure services can be delivered to defined scope and that they are costed correctly. Solutions range from product related technical field services to high value add integrated managed services. Enabled by the Service Catalogue from the Service product management organization, function as the services subject matter expert (SME) on all service-related topics and to promote the consumption and adoption of the DN service portfolio.

This role requires insight and understanding of customer business challenges, customer & sales strategy, technical capabilities of the portfolio and the value delivered as the outcome. Key to the role is to integrate the service value propositions into the operational environment of the clients in a pre-sale’s capacity. This includes requirement analysis, scope validation, work breakdown structure, solution documentation, cost development, RAID-log documentation, and solution sign-off as input to the proposal and commercial processes managed by the sales teams.
