What you will do

A professional responsible for examining and evaluating worksheets submitted by an auditor or insured. Responsibilities include verifying the accuracy of an auditor’s findings, ensuring compliance with auditing standards, and providing an additional layer of quality control for audit results.

Essential Functions:

Review audits produced by staff and vendor auditors. Verify audit data against policy terms and conditions to ensure accuracy. Complete mail audit summaries of exposures and ensure proper classification. Analyze and respond to audit questions and disputes within the authority level. Research and interpret state and company manual rules for multiple lines of business, with knowledge of audit procedures, class guides, audit manuals, PAAS, and NCCI. Create audit statements in all systems as well as manually. Additional Responsibilities: Familiarity with manual coding of audits. Willing to take on other projects as assigned. Adhere to industry standards and company policies. Collaborative team player with strong attention to detail.

What you need

Senior Premium Audit Examiner

Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent business experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance or commercial audit. 5 years preferred.

Premium Audit Examiner 

Associate’s Degree preferred or equivalent business experience. 2 years of experience in commercial insurance or commercial audit preferred.

Salary Range

Senior Premium Audit Examiner

$41,590-$62,385

Premium Audit Examiner

$33,626-$50,439

The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee’s work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.
