**How does this role contribute to our collective success?**
As the lead pricing actuary for the US Primary Casualty and Lower Middle Market Casualty business units, this individual will support the portfolio strategy of the US Casualty book. They will proactively engage with Reserving, Risk Management, Finance, Claims, and Data & Analytics colleagues to achieve desired business outcomes and implement business strategies.
**What will you do in this role?**
+ Lead monthly Rate Monitoring and Quarterly reporting processes
+ Build and maintain pricing tools and reports
+ Lead rating engine development and improvement
+ Support selection of Loss Ratios in the financial plan, with consideration of business strategies, market conditions, mix of business, loss trend, loss costs and reinsurance structures.
+ Lead the regular product monitoring analysis cycle and the discussion with the Division and Business leaders to identify issues, discuss opportunities, assist in the development of actions plans, and develop measures to monitor their progress.
+ Work with Ceded Re on Treaty placements and impact of Reinsurance
+ Synthesise information across subject areas and present conclusions to individual line underwriting leaders as well as divisional management.
+ Monitoring the execution of underwriting actions and strategy implementation; assessing the impact of these on the account’s profile and emerging claims experience.
+ Maintain the feedback loop of information and analyses between the pricing, reserving, capital modelling and business planning processes.
+ Support the Underwriting team with Ad Hoc request including (but not limited to) large account pricing, rating model support, key metric summaries, etc.
+ You may also be required to take on additional duties, responsibilities and activities appropriate to the nature of this role.
**About You:**

**What you need to have:**
+ Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society, or other relevant actuarial organization.
+ SQL and Excel expertise
+ Adaptive communication style with the ability to communicate results from actuarial analyses to non-technical audiences at all levels, including senior management.
+ Ability to build relationships, collaborate and establish credibility with all stakeholders.
+ Timeliness of delivery and appropriate prioritization when there are conflicting demands.

+ Experience building pricing models
+ Experience leading projects
+ Experience training and developing junior analysts
**Role Factors:**
+ Be in the office 3 days per week.
+ Occasional travel for business.
**What we offer:**
For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $180,000 to $200,000 (NYC), $165,000 to $185,000 (Chicago), or $150,000 to $170,000 (Alpharetta). Your salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including your specific experience and work location.
