Responsibilities:
Execute Pricing processes and service level agreements with the branch network that meet the pricing needs of commercial resources and retains pricing data within our bid ecosystemManage, complete, and respond to complex/strategic pricing requests in accordance with assigned due dates or service level agreements for new and existing customers in a specific mode, product, or trade laneEnsure compliance with operational policies prior to pricing businessProvide notes on every pricing activity logging how the pricing was compiled to effectively communicate that information to relevant operations staff upon awardManage incoming work queue. Responding to network requests/assistance via email/incoming ticket system and phonePerform checks and balances of bid submissions and awards, and subsequent uploads to our Bid EcosystemEnsure quality assurance of submitted bid rates, award verification and final rate uploadsRead through bid materials to understand requirements and expectationsGather, consolidate, and verify rates and lane awardsManage the timeline for all parties involved to ensure timely submission of bidsMaintain absolute accuracy and attention to detailComplete and participate in customer cost reviews based on data, volume, and revenue trendsPerform site administration for some websites based on opportunity. Work with the administration tool, setting up, registering, and downloading documentsConsult with multiple offices/partners to identify and capitalize on pricing and service strengths/overcome weaknesses regarding our competitorsDevelop a deep understanding of what factors influence pricing strategy (rate and cost)Utilize and contribute to the development of pricing toolsEnsure compliance with operational policies prior to pricing businessRequired Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or GEDMinimum 4 years previous experience in operations, analytics, and/or pricingAdvanced englishPreferred:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or universityAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programsCommercial experience within C.H.
