The Senior Pricing Analyst is responsible for coordinating all internal activities required for the development and approval of all matters pertaining to pricing and contracts for assigned customers and/or territories under the supervision of the Pricing Director. This position supports the sales organization with customer pricing and contract inquiries and resolving customer pricing issues. Strong inter-personal skills are required to create cross functional relationships with Corporate Accounts, Legal, Marketing and Sales Management.
What will you be doing?
Manage book of customer contracts for assigned customers and/or territories including: managing monthly expirations, reviewing expirations for price optimization, creating new contract documents as required and communicating changes with customers and trade partners.
Responsible for leading cross functional teams in the completion of all bids and requests for proposals (RFPs). This includes creation of proposal documents, cross references, customer analysis and development of pricing strategy for each response.
Creation of new national, regional, local and distributor contracts into the S+N contracting system including loading of all eligible customers/members.
Provide guidance to the Sales organization on pricing and designs pricing and rebate offers for customers based on the individual products and specific customer needs.
Prepare customer agreements including redlining customer provided documents to comply with company approved practices and creating new legal documents.
Notify distributor partners of changes required to S+N contracts and/or contract eligibility for new contracts or contract changes.
Assist Pricing Director with special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.
What will you need to be successful?
Education:
BS/BA is required preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting or Statistics.
Experience:
5+ years in Finance, Pricing, Contracts or Analytics with experience in pharmaceuticals or medical device industry preferred.
Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients, vendors, and other internal groups.
Must possess good organizational skills and work independently to ensure all responsibilities are completed on schedule.
Experience with ModelN and SAP a plus.
