**Job Summary**
Gather disparate data from various data sources, analyzes and normalizes the data to ensure quality of data for analysis. Responsible for providing consistent, relevant and accurate data as well as guidance/knowledge of the data and definitions that are available for analysis.
**Major Tasks, Responsibilities, and Key Accountabilities**
+ Maintaining and enhancing a pricing matrix that accurately reflects various product/customer combinations and their corresponding price levels.
+ Collaborating with sales and pricing team to define pricing strategies based on the matrix, considering factors like price elasticity and market penetration.
+ Gathering data on competitor pricing, market trends, and customer behavior to inform pricing decisions within the matrix.
+ Understanding the cost structure of products and services to ensure profitability at different price points within the matrix.
+ Analyzing sales data and market trends to identify areas for price optimization within the matrix, generating reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
+ Developing and maintaining Customer Segmentation solutions based on Historical Sales and Market Data to drive accurate pricing.
+ Implementing price changes within the matrix based on market dynamics and business objectives.
+ Enhancing processes, developing recommendations and solutions through complex data modeling to present to pricing leadership.
+ Communicates pricing recommendations and rationale to different stakeholders including sales and leadership teams.
+ Solves for ad hoc questions and changing market conditions through data analysis and adjustments to model.
**Nature and Scope**
+ Identifies key barriers/core problems and applies problem solving skills in order to deal creatively with complex situations. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. Makes decisions under conditions of uncertainty, sometimes with incomplete information, that produce effective end results.
+ Independently performs assignments with instruction limited to the expected results. Determines and develops an approach to solutions. Receives technical guidance only on unusual or complex problems or issues.
+ May oversee the completion of projects and assignments, including planning, assigning, monitoring and reviewing progress and accuracy of work, evaluating results, etc. Contributes to employees' professional development but does not have hiring or firing authority.
**Work Environment**
+ Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
+ Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
+ No travel required.
+ If hired, candidates located in the greater Atlanta area would be required to work from our new corporate headquarters 2x a week through our new hybrid work model.
**Education and Experience**
+ Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Generally 5-8 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 3-5 years of experience in a related field. Certification is required in some areas.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Proficiency in data analysis, statistical methods, and using data visualization tools to interpret complex data sets including Tableau and/or Power BI.
+ Advanced knowledge of spreadsheet functions to manage and analyze pricing data within the matrix.
+ Experience identifying issues with pricing structures within the matrix and proposing solutions to optimize profitability.
+ Experience designing and using Pricefx for Customer Segmentation and Discount Models.
This is a hybrid position based in our Field Support Center in Doraville, GA.
Salary range: $71,800 - 115,700.
