Senior Pricing Analyst - National Accounts

The Sr. Analyst, Price Execution is responsible for the analysis and system execution of price movement factors and pricing models based on customer agreements and company’s go-to-market strategies. In addition, this role will be key in fostering an atmosphere of collaboration, cross training, and partnership with functional teammates as well as other channel pricing groups.

How You Will Make Contributions That Matter...

Supporting channel-specific pricing strategy by applying dairy component costing knowledge to price change practices and procedures. Examples include Federal Market Order, Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME), and Internal commodity forecasting.

Actively support the sales and accounting teams to resolve customer pricing deductions in a timely manner to reduce daily deduction balances.

Assisting in the preparation of monthly commodity movement summaries to senior leadership and sales leadership teams.

Owning a smaller percentage of complex customer accounts that warrant heightened sensitivity on invoice accuracy.

Participating and supporting sales and category management teams in the preparation of customer pricing actions. 

Collaborating with team leaders to administer on-going maintenance of pricing programs and customer-specific models; including amendments to add/delete products, update customer pricing.

Reviewing and applying agreed upon actions from KPI’s, targets, and reporting packages that support business performance in addition to internal/external audit requirements.

Completing ad hoc analysis to support decision-making process for pricing-related business objectives.

Working closely with internal and external customers to resolve price discrepancies with a focus on ensuring long-term accuracy of customer invoicing.

You Are Best Suited for The Role if You...

Education—Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related discipline. An advanced degree in business is a plus.

Experience—Minimum 2+ years finance experience in consumer-packaged goods or similar industry. Candidate should also have critical problem solving, fact-based, and quantitative analysis experience with an emphasis on pricing design and administration.

Specialized Knowledge—Must be able to understand market movements, pricing, and overall financial analysis/levers, critical reasoning/thinking, ability to convert data into insights for sales/category management, project management, and cross-functional collaboration/influencing skills.

Additional Qualifications—(1) Strong analytical, financial modeling and critical reasoning skills, (2) Expert Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power BI, and Word), (3) Knowledge or experience within SAP or other ERP solutions, (4) Excellent verbal/written communication skills and the ability to express key points in a concise manner, (5) Ability to adapt to changing organizational and operational needs, (6) Must be a strong team player who is able to work across multiple functions, disciplines and within own team, (7) Ability to work collaboratively with all departments, management levels within the company, and external stakeholders

Salary Range: $70,050 to $91,950

Salary offers will commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.
