Senior Principal Consultant-Agile Coach

Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant-Agile Coach

We are seeking a highly experienced Agile Coach to drive agility across our Product Engineering teams, ensuring seamless adoption and optimization of Agile practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean, SAFe, etc.), a proven track record of transforming teams, and experience working with large-scale Product Development initiatives. As an Agile Coach, you will mentor teams, leaders, and stakeholders to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Agile Transformation and Coaching:
a. Guide teams, leaders, and stakeholders on the adoption of Agile principles and practices.
b. Support Product Engineering teams in implementing Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
c. Mentor Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and RTEs (Release Train Engineers) to achieve excellence in Agile execution.
2. SAFe Framework Expertise:
a. Lead the adoption and scaling of SAFe across the organization.
b. Facilitate SAFe ceremonies such as PI Planning, Inspect and Adapt.
c. Ensure alignment between strategic goals and Agile execution within Agile Release Trains (ARTs).
3. Continuous Improvement:
a. Drive a culture of experimentation and learning to improve team performance and delivery.
b. Identify and remove impediments that impact team agility and delivery cadence.
c. Foster collaboration between Product, Engineering, and Leadership teams to align on priorities and value delivery.
4. Agile Metrics and Reporting:
a. Define and track key metrics to measure Agile maturity and team performance.
b. Provide data-driven insights to leadership to support decision-making and Agile improvement efforts.
5. Facilitation and Training:
a. Conduct workshops and training sessions on Agile practices, roles, and responsibilities.
b. Act as a servant-leader to foster trust, innovation, and collaboration within teams.
c. Build communities of practice to share Agile knowledge and best practices across the organization.
6. Stakeholder Management:
a. Collaborate with senior leadership to align Agile initiatives with organizational goals.
b. Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications
• experience in Agile Coaching, with a focus on Product Engineering teams.
• Hands-on experience with Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
• SAFe certifications (SAFe Program Consultant - SPC or equivalent) preferred.
• Proven experience in scaling Agile practices in large, complex organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Agile metrics such as velocity, lead time, and flow efficiency.
• Excellent facilitation, mentoring, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to coach at all levels, from individual teams to enterprise-wide transformation.
• Expertise with tools like Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with DevOps and CI/CD practices to enable Agile delivery.
• Background in Product Development, Engineering, or Software Development.
• Strong communication and conflict resolution skills.
• Change management experience to guide Agile transformations in evolving environments.
