Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Snowflake
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data storage, transformation, and retrieval.
• Build and optimize Snowflake schemas, tables, and views for efficient data processing.
• Implement data pipelines to ingest, transform, and load data from various sources into Snowflake.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality and performance issues in Snowflake.
• Ensure data security and implement access controls in Snowflake.
• Develop and maintain ETL processes using Snowflake's built-in features or external tools.
• Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Snowflake queries.
• Stay updated with the latest Snowflake features and best practices and recommend improvements to enhance data warehousing capabilities.
• Focus Areas:
• Designing and maintaining Snowflake data warehouse solutions.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• hands-on experience in Snowflake development and administration.
• Proven track record of delivering Snowflake solutions in a professional setting.
• Key Skill Sets:
• Strong experience in Snowflake data warehousing platform.
• Proficiency in SQL and ability to write complex queries for data transformation and retrieval.
• Knowledge of Snowflake architecture, including virtual warehouses, databases, and schemas.
• Familiarity with Snowflake's performance optimization techniques, such as query optimization and clustering.
• Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines using Snowflake's ETL features.
• Understanding of data modeling and schema design in Snowflake.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and resolve data-related issues.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Snowflake certification (SnowPro or similar).
• Experience with cloud-based data warehousing platforms (e.g., AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery).
• Knowledge of data integration tools and techniques, such as Informatica or Talend.
• Understanding of data governance and security practices in Snowflake.
