They liaison between program leadership and the engineering team, they lead and support the engineering disciplines throughout design and development, and they ensure that the whole team is running in the same direction. On this engineering team specifically, you will support projects related to Open System Architectures for the Department of Defense (DoD). Open System Architectures are an emerging set of Industry-wide requirements intended to standardize hardware and software interfaces for data systems (communication, sensor, or other mission data) such that new and emerging capabilities can be very rapidly developed and deployed.

What You Will Do:
You Will manage Program Schedule and Cost Performance (SPI / CPI) for a large programYou will collaborate across many engineering disciplines to execute program milestonesYou will coordinate part procurement and asset management in support of lab integrationYou will facilitate customer demonstration events and program reviews both onsite and offsiteWhat You Will Learn:
You will acquire knowledge about Open System ArchitectureYou will learn about emerging modern defense data technologies and capabilitiesYou will gain deeper understanding of the DoD’s acquisition process, budgeting, and financial managementQualification We Prefer:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experienceActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearanceQualifications We Prefer:
Strong Preference for current DoD Secret Clearance Strong communication skills, experience presenting to program management and executive leadershipExperience collaborating within a multi-disciplinary project teamFamiliarity with the Scaled Agile frameworkHigh-level understanding of communication theory, networking, and / or digital processingWhat We Offer:
