We have an opening for either a Principal Software Engineer or Senior Principal Software Engineer to join our talented NGP SATSIM team in Redondo Beach, CA.

Basic Qualification:

Principal S/W Engineer: 5 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors; 3 Years of relevant experience with Masters; 1 Year of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeSr Principal S/W Engineer: 8 Years of relevant experience with Bachelors in Science; 6 Years of relevant experience with Masters; 4 Years of relevant experience with PhD; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degreeActive Secret Clearance required at the time of applicationExperience with the full SW lifecycle with emphasis upon software design, development, as well as verification and validationExperience working with existing software applicationsExperience with developing C/C++ application on LinuxExperience Shell Scripting, and Angular, Python., JavaScript and Java programmingExperience working in a Linux operating systemFamiliarity with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo)

Preferred Qualifications:

Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00Salary Range 2: $137,400.00 - $206,000.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
