Raytheon is looking for a Sub-Integrated Product Team (Sub-IPT) Lead for the Upper Tier Missile Defense (UTMD) Radar Capability (RCap) IPT organization focusing on FMS and Domestic capabilities development, and radar build configuration delivery.  As a member of our elite RCap team, we want you to develop solutions to protect Warfighter’s technology advantage.

The Sub-IPT Lead reports to the UTMD RCap IPT lead. They are responsible for the management and coordination of the technical execution, cost, and schedule for their applicable scope, across multiple teams covering Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, and Integration. This includes task planning to create milestones and schedules, and managing competing priorities.  The successful candidate will be expected to build the team’s abilities and be able to work with both internal and external customers. They will also be expected to participate in proposal efforts in support of new business and have knowledge of financial status and planning for the team.

What You Will Do:

Product Ownership: Act as the primary point of contact for the customer. Be responsible for defining the Statement of Work (SOW) Scope Definition and using it to coordinate work through the Scaled Product Owner (SPO) for the ART including Capability Definition and Kickoff.

Product Quality and Escalation: Ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of team products and services and escalate concerns as appropriate to the Chief Engineer and Customer.

Requirements Gathering: Elicit and document product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to provide a clear understanding for development teams

Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with stakeholders, customers, and ART Leadership to ensure everyone is aligned with the product vision

Roadmap Development: Work with Chief Engineer (CE), Technical Leads and Chief Product Owner (CPO) to create and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the delivery schedule and milestones along with future development paths.

Manage Risk and Opportunities for the Product and manage performance to technical, cost, and schedule.

Support developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plans

Qualifications You Must Have:

Requires a minimum of 10+ years and a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent combination of related work experience.

Customer interface and interaction experience

Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Ability to prioritize and make data-driven decisions

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Experience contributing in a team environment for the purpose of developing creative solutions to technical problems.

Experience allocating budget and scope, and constructing a meaningful and executable IMS

The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

Qualifications We Prefer:

Experience with AN/TPY-2 or similar radar systems

Proven experience as a Scaled Product Owner or similar role in an agile, SAFe and/or Scrum at Scale environment

Experience with agile management tools (e.g., Jira)

Experience with system level requirements development, documentation, and maintenance and/or requirements development and design of system level software architecture

Experience with system level integration and test of complex systems, creating test plans, executing integration plans, resolving technical questions, integrating hardware and software components, and conducting performance analysis

Experience including test, integration, or verification and validation methods in a radar production environment and developing or evaluating requirements

Experience with Engineering tools (e.g PDM, PLM, CADD)

Earned Value Certification

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact positively with coworkers, suppliers, stakeholders, and customers in a team environment

Experience working with the Missile Defense Agency

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
