Job Overview
Senior Process Associate - Uses skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles, and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Contributes to development of concepts and techniques and monitoring, identifying the gaps and makes recommendations for new process. He has to work independently and guide to associates. He is required to ensure, monitor, participate in local statutory audit and tax compliances based on the entity.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure timely preparation of financial statements and full statutory compliance, including local audits and tax/ statutory – eg. Audit activities for relevant countries, statutory surveys from local government body. On quarterly basis, review indirect tax compliance including VAT/GST/ JCT/etc… Work well with outsourcing agents to ensure the local compliance for audit, direct and indirect tax etc. Ensure each statutory filing deadline is met. Regularly update desk manuals & working procedures to fulfil the SOX and internal audit requirement. Monthly close (MEC) and (half) Year End processing task Good Knowledge and experience in Billing/Revenue/R2R/P2P Ensure all Balance Sheets accounts are fully reconciled and uploaded to FloQast Partnership with other process and function managers. Maintains updated documentation and work procedures for all the significant areas and processes in an appropriate manner Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Experiences:
Bachelor's degree (B.Com) from a college or university in a business-related field (Finance or Accounting preferred) plus a minimum of 4 to 6 years related experience, APAC, US, UK and Germany GAAP knowledge preferred Requires strong knowledge of financial terms, concepts and accounting principles Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills are required along with the ability to plan and implement change whist being involved in daily activities. Must be able to adapt to changes based upon internal customer needs and manage multiple priorities. Ability to develop and maintain favorable working relationships with all levels of the organization. Ability to problem-solve, both independently and working as a team Proactively coaches and mentors junior team members. Understands implications of work and makes recommendations for solutions.
Strong computer skills, including specific knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Broad experience with other software and financial systems is desired such as NetSuite, Microsoft Great Plains (GP), OpenAir, and procurement software. Requires strong analytical and quantitative skills, strong work ethic and adaptable. Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to internal customers. Ability to effectively present information in written and verbal effectively with partners ranging from staff level to company executives.
