Senior Process Engineer

Position summary

This position is part of the engineering team and supports the production and distribution of elevator cable and components.  You’ll get the opportunity to work on and lead projects that support operations goals of improving safety, quality, and service and reducing cost.  You will get the chance to develop and gain experience and benefit from the experience of others on the team. 

Responsibilities and Requirements

Provide technical support on equipment through troubleshooting issues. Prepare and administer training for maintenance team to increase their skill level.Keep current with ongoing changes in technology as it pertains to the industry. Identify opportunities to upgrade or improve design of current equipment and controls.Create and execute the plan to implement improvements on design of current equipment and controls.Assist in installing new equipment, updating drawings, developing maintenance plansWorking knowledge of electrical controls: PLCs, HMIs, motors, drives, etc.Working knowledge of industrial equipment and systems: HVAC, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, etc.Competent in CAD software (Solidworks, Autocad)Able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints.Assist in New Product Development and 1st article trialsSupport operations by working with operators and production leaders through continuous improvement methodologies.

Relevant Experience and Education

B.S. in Engineering or related field. Work experience in manufacturing environment is a plus, but not required.
