Join our team as a process engineer, where you will play a crucial role in enhancing manufacturing processes. You will be a key contributor to technical investigations, process development, and cross-functional collaboration.
Conduct process/chemical engineering assessments to optimise manufacturing processes (yield and efficiency, debottlenecking, waste reduction, sustainability)Execute technical investigations and support root cause analysis to aid day to day troubleshooting and enhance learning in productionParticipate in studies into chemical stages and new technology for long-term process development, collaborating in multidisciplinary teamsChampion a strong HSE culture, ensuring standards are met and respectedProvide assessments and calculations in support of Process Risk AssessmentsDesign and implement plant trials to facilitate process changes, with a focus on data and critical success factorsSupport process knowledge transfers in alignment with the project leadCollaborate closely with project stakeholders (e.g. partners in production, R&D, supply chain & business functions)Contribute to the department in specialist roles (e.g. equipment / lab leader, specific techniques and software as required)Company Description

Qualifications
M.Sc. or PhD in Chemical or Process Engineering or equivalent work experience (preferably in manufacturing environment or process development)Strong understanding of chemical engineering principles. In particular, knowledge of distillation, crystallisation and reaction technologyKnowledge of process safety, health issues from chemical operations and environmental aspects of chemical production.Fluent in English with intermediate level German; French is advantageousGood communication skills coupled with the ability to see trends, simplify complex information, and appreciate different perspectives
