Job PurposeThe Senior Process Manager will work seamlessly with the NY Electric Operations organization and be responsible for driving business performance through strategic planning, data analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role will lead cross-functional teams to develop, execute, and monitor key strategies designed to enhance overall organizational effectiveness. The ideal candidate will be a blend of strong business acumen, excellent communication skills, be highly organized and have an understanding in improvement methodologies. Candidate will enjoy working in a fast-paced organization collaborating with various stakeholders across the Company.
Key Accountabilities Support the development and execution of long-term business strategies, ensuring clear milestones are identified, deliverables met, and risks are identified early for remediation. Lead cross-functional process reviews to identify areas for operational improvement. Champion continuous improvement efforts by applying Lean/Six Sigma tools and techniques (or similar) to optimize processes, reduce waste, and enhance overall efficiency across the organization. Define future-state operations solutions and document current and future processes. Ability to build and refine a business case, including benefits (financial, non-financial) and costs. Ability to prepare and present materials to senior leadership Lead and manage change processes within the organization, ensuring that new strategies and improvements are smoothly integrated and adopted across teams.Supervisory/Interpersonal- Experience Required
Excellent verbal/written communication skills and has the ability to deliver significant business results.Manage and facilitate teams on small to medium LEAN projects to drive efficiency and value.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or engineering or related field Experience/knowledge of standard improvement methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Root Cause Analysis Minimum 3 years of experience in strategy development, performance management, and/or process improvement Utility experience preferred Financial modeling and value case development experience preferred Strong communication skills, facilitation experience and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross functional teams at all levels within the organization. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools Strong project management skills to lead process improvement initiatives Ability to weigh and manage priorities Ability to make decisions as well as influence decision-making Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including advanced skills with Excel Demonstrated ability to work in high paced and changing environmentsMore Information
Salary: $90,000 - $127,000
This position has a career path which provides for advancement opportunities within and across bands as you develop and evolve in the position; gaining experience, expertise and acquiring and applying technical skills.
