Role and Responsibility

Compliance Expertise

Drive compliance programs and internal controls activities based on a framework of detection, real time monitoring, preventative controls, education and awareness and supplier management standards related to compliance.Apply deep solid understanding of all relevant policies, regulations, and/or SOX to maintain business operation compliance.Support internal and external procurement audits and reporting.

Reporting, Auditing, and Program Administration

Perform assurance activities including regular audits of procurement activities and resulting data.Conduct compliance risk assessments, report nonconformities, and manage mitigations and/or corrective action planning.Apply strong attention to detail to reporting, auditing and investigations.Drive accountability and resolution of issues raised through the process.Establish and update policies and procedures concerning compliance when needed.Deliver training for procurement team members and key collaborators on policies, responsibilities, and expectations.Support the Company’s Third-Party Due Diligence process, including sanction screening and reputational due diligence efforts.Lead cross-functional initiatives to handle and supervise compliance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Business Partnering

Advise key stakeholders with timely updates on supplier risk evaluations.Partner with corporate functions to design and implement new and incumbent supplier compliance assessments across business functions and geographic areas and design effective controls based on those assessments.Drive supplier accountability through both partnership and enforcement of corrective actions.Collaborate with suppliers, customers, regulatory agencies, and business partners to ensure compliance.Articulate expectations and actions needed to maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

You are:

A recognized expert in procurement, contracting compliance and risk management.Possessing excellent interpersonal skills and a strong commitment to integrity.Having solid understanding of Micron’s supplier management processes.Demonstrate strong communication through active listening and clear communication to convey sophisticated issues concisely and accurately to all levels.Having a global perspective and a positive demeanor that is well-suited for working across different regions. Having an interest in eye for business, and data fluency, leveraging insights to make a data-driven decision.Agile in adopting new tools and ways of working towards continuous improvement to better business outcomes.Collaborating with an inclusive approach across geographical and organizational cultures to achieve mutual success for Micron.Self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain, legal, finance, accounting, business, or a related field.Qualified CPA, CA and/or CIA, CFE preferred.10+ years of procurement and/or compliance-related experienceProficiency in procurement processes and systems (e.g., Ariba, SAP, source-to-pay processes) preferred.Proficiency in O365, Sharepoint, Tableau, Power BI, or equivalent will be an added advantage.Proficient in written and verbal communication and presentation skills.Validated experience working effectively in a matrixed, global organization.
