Senior Procurement Sourcing Specialist - General and Professional Services - Remote Opportunity

The Senior Procurement Sourcing Specialist is responsible for delivering procurement value across various brands including KinderCare, Champions, Crème de la Crème, and the Corporate Headquarters. This role focuses on strategic sourcing of products and services, using research, strategy development, RFPs, consultations and contracting. The successful candidate will handle $20M+ in spend across diverse categories and drive financial and operational improvements through collaboration with various functional areas.

Responsibilities:Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in business. An advanced degree a plus.3-5 yrs. strategic procurement sourcing experience, preferably in a multi-unit corporate procurement environment.Own multiple procurement sourcing projects concurrently to deliver financial and operational results.Create category strategies based on internal and market data, assessing risks and opportunities.Develop financial models for bid analysis and performance measurements.Negotiate with suppliers to improve savings and mitigate risks.Conduct procurement process steps including market assessment, RFPs, negotiations and contracting.Document and obtain approvals for contracts ensuring clear requirements and performance standards.Communicate cross-functionally to align business partners and keep them informed of project status.Identify and implement procurement operational improvements.Discover project opportunities through data mining and business partner engagement. Qualifications: Qualifications:Self-starter with the ability to see opportunities and implement plans independently.Strong communication skills for clear and succinct messaging in writing and verbally.Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.Experience in assessing current state and implementing effective change strategies.Influencing and stakeholder leadership skills; partnership and relationship building, demonstrating the improvement of Procurement, and showing curiosity while challenging respectfully.Make sound business decisions based on key data points.Understanding of basic contract formats and language.Sophisticated expertise in spreadsheets, including pivot tables and scenario building.Analytical skills for proposal assessment and data mining, forming actionable recommendations.Presentation skills with the ability to create visual elements for conveying messages.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Workday Strategic Sourcing is a plus.
