Senior Procurement Specialist with 7+ years of experience, responsible for contract management, negotiation, and procurement strategy to ensure compliance and value optimization in alignment with client policies.
Must-Have Skills Experience with trade agreements and the Financial Administration Act, Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, and Public Works Act. 6+ years of experience in full-cycle sourcing, including RFPs, RFQs, evaluations, and contract execution. Strong contract negotiation skills with demonstrated ability in resolving vendor issues. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite tools. Experience using ERP systems, such as SAP. Completion of SCMP or equivalent certifications. Nice to Have Skills Familiarity with tender systems and E-bidding platforms. Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy. Demonstrated ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of stakeholders. Experience with project management and leading teams in a procurement environment. Responsibilities Assist in finalizing contracts with vendors as per Contract Management Plans. Administer contracts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with the government’s guidelines. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors to minimize risk and maximize contract value. Prepare RFX selection methodologies, evaluation plans, and final award recommendations. Proactively identify and resolve contract issues. Support procurement strategy development and refine business requirements. #LI-CC1
