Cvent is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to assist with the review and processing of purchase orders, negotiation of new and renewing purchases and contract obligations, and maintaining documentation related to purchases and contracts. This position will be a part of the team responsible for conducting purchasing of information technology assets (hardware, software, SaaS solutions), services, and the other products critical to the growth and operations of the company. In This Role, You Will: Assist in the drafting of and maintenance documentation and policies related to procurement, purchasing, travel, and other typical areas of corporate spend Maintain physical and electronic documents, shared files, correspondence and requests for clarification, according to established filing procedures and relevant rules and regulations Maintain and administer Cvent’s contract database (Ironclad) and PO system (Coupa) Support senior procurement personnel with routine tasks, including preparing regular reports Assist in all procurement, financial, and, insurance administration activities Organize vendor contracts with the ability to read and decipher the contractual language, along with the transactional terms Lead vendor negotiations for small and commodity purchasing, and assist with vendor negotiations on enterprise-wide purchasing Assist with general office and administrative duties as needed, including coordination of maintenance contractors Here's What You Need: Bachelor’s Degree 2+ years of experience in purchasing, sourcing, or procurement First-hand experience with a common Procurement Software system, preferably Coupa First-hand experience with a contract management lifecycle (CLM) software, preferably Ironclad Self-motivated and detail-oriented, quick learner with the ability to multi-task Proficient in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to negotiate with various vendors Physical Demands We are not able to offer sponsorship for this position
