The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for the governance of the operational performance of the Indirect Suppliers driving continuous improvement of their performances across all the business units of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the end-to-end sourcing process by developing purchasing plans, launching and managing sourcing events, selecting preferred and qualified vendors as well as negotiating and executing new or existing supplier contracts Drive cost saving initiatives by working cross functionally with internal business teams to find and execute upon opportunities Continuous monitoring of supplier performances versus contractual provisions and business expectations, identifying areas of opportunity and driving actions and solutions Ongoing collaboration with internal stakeholders, as well as quarterly business reviews with vendors and suppliers to assess performanceQualifications in this role include, but are not limited to:
Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, finance or related field. 3-4 years of Procurement experience Fundamental knowledge of the seven-step sourcing process and is required Fundamental knowledge of contracting and negotiation is required Working knowledge of Oracle’s procure-to-pay (P2P) system or other (SAP, Coupa, etc.) source-to-pay system is required Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office toolsPreferred Experience and Skills:
Fundamental knowledge of purchase orders and the procure to pay process is preferred (i.e. Oracle, SAP) Fluency in Spanish is a nice to have but not required Ability to make important decisions, prioritize work and adapt to the pressures of demanding markets, tight deadlines and different internal client needs Displays a continuous improvement mindset with an eagerness for both individual and organizational success Strong communication and interpersonal skills that displays the ability to build and maintain strong, proactive relationships with local, regional and global stakeholders Strong negotiation skills that support the ability to handle complex, multi-functional agreements Display a high standard for integrity and respecting othersBenefits Offered:
