Responsibilities

•    Responsible for the effective coordination of the material (components) until his release to production, including the following steps: planning/purchasing, delivering on time the right quantity at the right place, receiving prioritization, quality clearance, to continuously supply the production needs without any interruption or shortage.
•    Prepares purchase orders for raw material, component and related items according to procedures.
•    Takes appropriate action in resolving discrepancies in order quantity, price and seeks corrective action on late deliveries.
•    Responsible for the relationship with the supplier in case of non-conformity related to components including: RTV, Credit Note request.
•    SME for external & internal audit on all purchasing aspect, best practice and Oracle usage, SPOC for financial request (e.g. PWC audit)
•    Core team member for project related to purchasing activities.
•    Acts as back-up in the absence of the Supply Chain Manager
•    Assists departments in defining purchasing needs and resolving associated problems.
•    Supplier management: support sourcing activities, receive and interview vendor representatives to keep abreast of developments, service, quality, or other matters.
•    Develop and investigate new sources of supply, make recommendations

Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 5 years of relevant experience
•    APICS certification a plus
•    Strong organization skills and an aptitude for planning
•    Accuracy with attention to detail
•    Proactive approach
•    Able to work with limited supervision Able to work with limited supervision
•    Proficient user of MS Office, Excel, Word, Powerpoint
•    Fluent in French and English 
•    Can drive continuous process improvements
•    Ability to translate complex situations into simple working solutions
