We are looking for a Senior Producer, External Projects to join our Barcelona office. This exciting new role will let you take our external game titles to the next level. As a Senior Producer you will be responsible for liaising 3rd party partners, working in tandem with in-house teams such as Rovians from User Research, UA, BI, Beacon, QA, Brand and Transmedia. You’ll be ensuring that games stay on track in terms of quality, budget and deadlines with the support of craft leads and studio leadership. You’ll be reviewing milestones together with our in-house Flightpath team.
You are a passionate game maker who can make sure the team lives its vision and is set up for success across multiple aspects. You will have impact and fun at work by:Liaising with internal and external development teams to oversee external game production, including quality and KPI follow-ups, providing feedback, brand approvals, and facilitating milestone approvalsTracking schedules, identifying risks, troubleshooting communication and dependency issues, and working with the teams on contingency plansBeing responsible for demonstrations and presentations of the projects, ensuring they seamlessly reach their milestone goalsMaintaining and enhancing creative relationships with external teams; possibly finding potential partners to work with, especially in the Casual / Puzzle genreImplementing and coordinating the common activities between internal Rovio teams and external partners to secure smooth delivery, well coordinated liveops activities or new feature launchesManaging project planning, coordinating with local game teams to create and maintain schedules and staffing plansSupporting stakeholder deliverable creation (HQ, platform holders, etc.) with local teams as neededConducting regular check-ins with key stakeholdersConstantly helping teams to improve their ways of working, team interactions and cultureExperience and skills we are looking for:Strong knowledge of game production scheduling as well as schedule managementSolid networks and contacts with external partnersExperience handling IPs for F2P mobile games ensuring brand guidelines are strictly followed and allowing best utilisation of IPs and its existing audienceExperience working with and coordinating external development teamsExcellent time management skills with a proven ability to prioritise, assess risks, and solve problemsStrong understanding of the mobile video game landscape, including current gaming trends and competitive benchmarksTrack record of managing all phases of production of a mobile F2P title, from prototyping to soft launch and LiveOps operationsEffective communication skills, with the ability to foster team collaboration and ensure the team continuously moves toward the same goal; and communicate clearly with external stakeholdersSolid business mindset and an ability to handle unexpected situationsWhat's in it for you:This role is instrumental in Rovio’s future success with external titles.
