SS&C Technologies Inc., a world leading provider of comprehensive investment management solutions and services is looking for an individual to join the firm’s Intelligent Automation and Analytics division in the role of Fund of Funds Analyst.

As a member of the Analytics team, approximately 65 percent of Senior Business Analyst’s time will be spent on leading implementations of SS&C’s advanced fund of funds investment platform, as well as product management, project coordination and sales support efforts. The remaining 35 percent of the candidate’s time will be spent working closely with senior management on special projects pertaining to SS&C’s performance and analytics services and providing ongoing operational and analytical support to alternative investment clients.

What You Will Get To Do:

Lead implementations of new clients in the areas of fund of funds analysis, investment performance, and risk measurementProvide ongoing operational and analytical support to clients and internal team membersInteract regularly with current and prospective clients, product management teams, fund accounting teams and senior management to ensure effective business operationsInvolved in product management, design and testing of new functionalities, client relationship management and various special projectsResearch and design new product features, methodologies and functionalities aimed at increasing the platform’s versatility and added valueSupport the ongoing production process and ensuring timely client deliverables of the highest qualityDevelop into a subject matter expert in the areas of Fund of Funds investments, performance measurement and analytics, and risk measurementKeep abreast of industry initiatives and market trends that impact the businessCultivate relationships with both internal and external partners

What You Will Bring:

Undergraduate Degree in business, finance, economics or related fieldGraduate degree in business, finance, economics is an asset2 to 5 years of experience in the financial industry and experience with alternative investmentsExperience with solutions such as SS&C Geneva, Burgiss, Addepar, Solovis, or Caisa is a strong assetKnowledge of performance measurement, risk analysis and/or attribution analysis is an assetStrong knowledge of a range of alternative asset classes, such as private equity and hedge fundsProven ability to meet strict periodic deliverablesStrong oral and written communication skills and ability to influence othersAbility to multi-task effectively and ability to remain highly organized in a deadline driven environmentStrong analytical skills and ability to effectively explain investment performance resultsProficiency with Microsoft Office suite, with advanced working knowledge of Excel
