Senior Product Architect

Primary Position Objective:

To design, develop, and maintain innovative RAD models for insurance products. This involves leveraging business and technical expertise, collaborating with various business and technical teams, and ensuring scalable, resilient solutions across multiple platforms and workflows. Additionally, provide support for the entire product lifecycle, address ad hoc issues, and offer expert consultation.

Essential Functions:

Design and develop reusable, flexible, and scalable product models, ensuring alignment with business objectives.Familiarity with JSON, API testing, and Postman, along with experience in BDD frameworks and Azure DevOps repositories.Responsible for designing, executing test plans for APIs, creating and managing JSON payloads for API testing. Utilizing Postman for testing APIs and review and analyze diagnostics to ensure data integrity and functionality.Implement and maintain Behavior Driven Development (BDD) tests,Conduct pull request reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to scope business needs, design scalable solutions, and review technical and vendor designs.Provide subject matter expertise on insurance products and collaborate with various departments to align requirements.Support product lifecycle activities, including evolution, maintenance, and repair of models.Prepares detailed documentation covering implemented solution plans, systems architecture, business decisioning, process refinements, best practices and training materials.Collaborates to operationalize new features, capabilities, functions, and models for broad distribution and rollout across systems, states, and GEICO products.Adheres to GEICO Code of Conduct, company policies, and operating principles.Meets attendance standard at business location to perform necessary job functions and to facilitate interaction with management and coworkers.

Must have the following education and experience:

Bachelor's degree or higher in Mathematics, Computer Science, Project Management, Business Management, or Finance, or other related disciplines such as Statistics, Economics, Accounting,  Engineering, or related quantitative and analytics fields and a minimum of 5 years Insurance industry analytical work experience OR8 years Insurance industry work experience concentrated in software development, user experience design, or regulatory adherence


 

Annual Salary

$75,000.00 - $185,000.00

The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
