Position Overview:
Vibrant Emotional Health seeks a talented and highly motivated Senior Product Designer to join our team. Reporting to the Sr Manager of UX Research & Design, this individual will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience for our Salesforce platforms, which support critical mental health services. The Senior Product Designer will be responsible for partnering with business and product leadership to translate user needs into effective product features and functionality. The ideal candidate will have a background creating user-friendly experiences on the Salesforce platform for both B2B and B2C audiences. We are looking for someone passionate about working for a nonprofit dedicated to improving mental health nationwide and supporting crisis counselors, crisis center leadership, and help seekers.
Duties/Responsibilities:
+ UX/UI Design
+ Oversee UX/UI design decisions across Vibrant’s two main platforms for crisis center administrators and crisis counselors, ensuring a user-friendly and accessible experience
+ Apply visual design principles and brand guidelines to design experiences within a Salesforce environment, leveraging out-of-the-box components and leading the design of custom components as needed.
+ Create low-to-high fidelity wireframes and prototypes to visualize design concepts and collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
+ Partner with data specialists to create data visualizations and wireframes for custom dashboards and reports
+ Stay up-to-date on the latest thinking in UX and UI design, particularly within the mental health and crisis intervention space.
+ User Research
+ Occasionally conduct user research activities, such as interviews, surveys, and usability tests.
+ Analyze user research data to identify user needs and pain points
+ Translate user research findings into actionable design recommendations
+ Collaboration and Communication
+ Communicate with internal and external partners to translate their goals and objectives into design requirements
+ Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and 3rd party partners to ensure seamless integration of design into the development process
+ Communicate design decisions effectively to stakeholders across the organization
+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
Required Skills/Abilities:
+ Proven expertise in all aspects of UX/UI design, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and visual design
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex business requirements into effective design solutions and inform product strategy
+ Strong understanding of accessibility standards and guidelines
+ Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to present design decisions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
+ Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product management, data engineering, and senior leadership.
+ Strategic thinker with a customer-centric mindset and a passion for improving emotional health.
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Visual Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or 4 years in liu
+ 5+ years of experience in UX/UI design, with a strong focus on Salesforce design.
+ Proficiency in design tools including Figma.
+ Familiarity with Tableau is a plus.
+ Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
+ Experience working with Agile development methodologies
+ Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in visual design and user experience design.
Physical Requirements:
+ Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
+ Will constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as computer printers and phones.
+ Will frequently communicate over video calls with internal and external stakeholders.
