Position Summary: The Product Design team at Perforce is searching for a Senior Product Designer. The Senior Product Designer at Perforce will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create user-centered designs that enhance the user experience and drive the success of our products. Responsibilities: Own the design for one or more products in the Perforce product portfolio. Provide design support throughout the development process, from concept to final implementation. Conduct user research to gather insights and identify pain points and opportunities. Participate in usability testing sessions and analyse results to inform design decisions. Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and aligned with project goals. Present design concepts and solutions to the team and stakeholders, effectively communicating the rationale behind design decisions. Collaborate with other design colleagues to maintain design consistency and coherence across products. Ensure that designs adhere to brand guidelines and accessibility standards. Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and tools. Requirements: 5+ years of product design experience A bachelor’s degree or industry recognised certifications in a Design related discipline. Significant experience in the full design lifecycle Experience in designing for technical enterprise software is highly desirable. Strong design instincts - understand what works and doesn’t work for people and why, and push beyond the obvious to create compelling human experiences. Commitment to problem solving and making complex things elegant and easy for people to use. Ability to showcase your end-to-end design process that includes workflow diagrams and wireframes, interaction and visual design artifacts, and high-fidelity prototypes. Comfortable in a highly technical environment. Our users are DevOps professionals who face complex technical challenges. While you don’t need to be a DevOps expert to succeed in this role, you must be willing to learn the basic concepts to understand our users’ challenges.
