ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an amazing opportunity for a proactive and solutions focused individual to join our Cotton On Womenswear team as a Senior Product Developer for our Wovens category on a 12 month maternity leave contract. You will enable our vision by leading and mentoring your Product team to develop ethical and sustainable lifestyle products that our customers love. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operating rhythm of the category and will be the pivotal link between our Buying and Product teams to ensure that we are delivering quality products that our customers know and love. You will partner with our buyers and suppliers to negotiate and manage product expectations, track production, manage product schedules, contribute to fittings and review samples to ensure our products meet standards and frameworks. If you are passionate about leading a team to deliver on amazing products that make a difference, then this could be your new role.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

•    Degree / qualification in relevant field Production i.e. Fashion, Textiles
•    Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Product Developer role, with the ability to lead and coach a team
•    Proven ability with technical specifications and fittings
•    Knowledge in Activewear fabrication is highly regarded
•    Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
•    Strong organisation, planning and time management skills
•    Ability to make confident decisions that will determine the success of the brand
•    Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Illustrator.
