SSGA’s Global Funds Management (“GFM”) team drives sound fund oversight programs across SSGA’s funds and services. GFM’s Product and Risk Disclosure Management Team is in need of a Senior Product Disclosure Analyst who will be responsible for managing SSGA’s governing Legal documents, proxy filings, and supporting SSGA’s foreign sub-account opening processes.
As Senior Product Disclosure Analyst, key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Manage annual 40 Act Fund N-1A Registration Statement (Prospectus and Statement of Additional Information) reviews acting as the key point of contact for Subject Matter Experts (“SMEs”) (Portfolio Management, Legal, Investment Oversight, Funds Management Oversight teams) within SSGA. Main responsibilities are to make sure all SME reviews are performed, comments are addressed and resolved, appropriate updates are incorporated, and documents are filed on time with the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission. Assist with creation and annual updates of governing documents for SSGA’s Common Trust and Collective Investment Trusts (“CTF” and “CIT,” respectively). This entails review and procedure prep, working cross-functionally with Portfolio Manager and Legal Teams, and updating and producing updated documents.Perform regular reviews of end-to-end of all processes to identify gaps, opportunities for improvement, automation to streamline processes, especially as regulatory requirements evolve.Alignment with all procedures and internal governance and risk requirements to ensure compliance with all internal control reviews and audits.Sub-Accounts
Complete requirements to effect sub-account openings in foreign markets in which Portfolio Managers request to trade; also perform ad-hoc sub-account maintenance, i.e., annual renewals, fund name changes, etc.Manage external custodian responsible for liaising with foreign markets to open sub-accounts.Proxies
Assist with 40 Act Fund proxies, i.e., vendor RFP, selection and oversight, partner w/Legal, Distribution and other internal business stakeholders to develop timing milestones and filing of proxy statements, subsequent shareholder meeting, and researching inquiries.Job Skills and Abilities
Bachelor’s degree and 5-7 years experience in the securities or financial services industry and knowledge of 40 Act ETF and Mutual Fund products.High level of personal and professional integrity and sound judgment, with a keen focus on creating and following procedures, documentation, and internal governance.Analytical thinker with extreme attention to detail.Strong organizational skills; able to handle multiple projects/deadlines.Ability to lead, build relationships with SMEs, influence others, be resourceful, and work independently.Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to effectively communicate across all levels.Working knowledge of Excel and Word.About State Street

Salary Range:
$70,000 - $115,000 AnnualThe range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
