Amazon Marketplace and Global Selling has been the engine of growth of Amazon for the past several years. We are looking for an intellectually curious, self-driven, innovative and highly motivated and ambitious leader to lead Global Selling product development for Marketplace in JP.
The Global Selling Sr. Product Manager is responsible for the end-end product vision, product development planning, and management of product roadmap for a combination of the programs that drive our Seller Business, closely working with Business teams in China, Korea, EU, US and India, tech teams in Japan as well as the global Fee, Selection and Seller Growth teams in the US.
This role is a highly strategic role with a big business impact that will require the leader in this role to innovate, drive adoption of our tools and ensure we make substantial contributions to the growth of our business.
The ideal candidate operates with total autonomy, thrives in ambiguous situations, and is able to earn trust and influence across a high level of seniority. The candidate possesses a highly strategic mindset, and excellent business judgment and also be able to collaborate with the technology teams to manage and define technology roadmaps and participate development through Agile. This role requires superior communication skills to effectively work with key stakeholders including category leaders, corporate multiple product and tech teams, marketing, legal, and account management teams.
Key job responsibilities
• Lead product vision and roadmap development, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market opportunities, while delivering an exceptional customer experience
• Partner with cross-functional teams (Tech, Design, Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Operations) to drive successful product development and launch execution
• Champion customer-centric strategy through data-driven insights and user research to create intuitive, engaging shopping experiences
• Develop Go To Market strategy focusing on key business metrics: Selection, GMS, Customer acquisition, and profitability
• Implement robust tracking systems to monitor product development progress, identify optimization opportunities, and ensure project accountability
• Work with Finance team to conduct thorough financial analysis, validating business cases, and ensuring the sustainability of the product and program investment.
