We are seeking a technical, results-oriented Product Manager to join our dynamic Electromechanical Solutions (EMS) team in Phoenix, AZ. As the Product Manager for Software, you will play a crucial role in helping drive the growth of the business for brands like Adams Rite, Alarm Controls, HES, LifeSafety Power, and Securitron while working collaboratively with sales, marketing, training, and engineering to delight our customers. In this role you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of a comprehensive software, firmware, cloud and app strategy for the organization. This individual will help drive a best-in-class connected product experience by ensuring that software-related consumer benefits are thoroughly defined and successfully commercialized. Software excellence is a critical part of our connected SaaS (Software as a Service) strategy, and this individual will help make this vision come to life within our product portfolio.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily:
Develop & Execute SaaS Strategy: Define and execute a comprehensive SaaS strategy and roadmap for connected products, including features, pricing, and go-to-market plans; review and update as required, standardized templates, processes and tools utilized for software definition, development and requirements. Customer Focus: Grow the overall number of annual software service agreements and third-party integrations; gather and prioritize customer requirements, ensuring software solutions address key pain points and deliver best-in-class user experiences. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal and external software teams to help execute projects on time and on budget; including the coordination and management of product test sites. Data-Driven Decisions: Track key metrics, analyze performance, and use data to inform product strategy and prioritize enhancements.

QUALIFICATIONS
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities required for this position.
Education and/or Experience:
Minimum of five (5) years of software and app product management experience within the security or consumer electronics industry. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field preferred. MBA is a plus.Computer Skills
Proficiency in MS Office Working knowledge of IT systems and software, including risks associated with cybersecurity. Demonstrate a basic understanding of communication protocols; SNMP, OpenAPI, RestAPI, HTTPS, JSON, MQTT Familiarity with Oracle, Roadmunk, Miro, Smartsheets or SalesForce CRM software programs is a plus.Other Skills
Proven track record of successfully launching and scaling SaaS products. Excellent organization, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Tenacious and detailed oriented with a proven track record for driving growth. Strategic thinking and planning capability; intelligent, creative problem solver, both logically and creatively.
