About the Team
Our team is dedicated to developing and optimizing BCDR solutions, which form a key part of the core Nutanix stack. We drive innovation in business continuity and disaster recovery, with a focus on backup integration and hybrid cloud architectures. Our mission is to ensure the availability of modern applications and enhance storage management, all while fostering a dynamic, collaborative environment that encourages creative problem-solving and operational efficiency.
You will report to the Director of Product Management, who empowers team members to take ownership of their work and develop actionable plans independently. This approach focuses on outcome-based performance rather than just outputs, enabling team members to grow and adapt to challenges. The work setup is primarily on-site, requiring the new hire to be based in the Bengaluru office for at least 2 to 3 days a week, ideally every work day.
This role does not require extensive travel, occasional trips may be required for team meetings, conferences, or customer engagements. The primary focus will remain on local collaboration and project execution within the Bengaluru office.
Your RoleYou’ll define and execute roadmaps to ensure the resiliency of business-critical applications in both virtualized and cloud-native environments.You’ll proactively connect with internal and external customers and partners to gather feedback and define requirements.You’ll turn the gathered feedback and requirements into an actionable Product Requirements Document (PRDs) and keep it updated as required.You’ll work closely with development, UX/UI teams, and program managers to drive the execution of the roadmap.You’ll define, measure, and report on the success of product initiatives, ensuring they align with business goals.You’ll create impactful field and partner enablement materials by collaborating with marketing and support teams.You’ll regularly analyze competitive landscape and customer needs to inform product direction and strategy.You’ll engage in innovative projects to explore new opportunities beyond current tasks while ensuring alignment with organizational goals.You’ll maintain strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to facilitate collaboration.
What You Will Bring
Experience
4+ years of experience in product management, engineering, or a related field, specifically with enterprise datacenter products, along with a total of 12+ years of overall work experience.Must have a strong familiarity with the infrastructure ecosystem, including enterprise storage and virtualized environments like VMware ESXi, VMware VCF, KVM, AWS EC2, or Azure.Have a proven track record of managing and delivering enterprise-grade infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on detail and aligning them to improve customer operational efficiency.Proficiency in requirements gathering, prioritization, and conflict management.Ability to analyze technical challenges and develop effective solutionsStrong communication skills to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated focus on outcomes and delivery rather than outputs.Empathy and understanding towards engineers and team members to foster a collaborative environment.Education

This role operates in a hybrid capacity, blending the benefits of remote work with the advantages of in-person collaboration. For most roles, that will mean coming into an office a minimum of 2 - 3 days per week, however certain roles and/or teams may require more frequent in-office presence.
