The Senior Product manager will deliver technical, operational, and commercial plans to senior leaders across our Valves business. You will own profitability and growth through Long Range Planning and development of a Multi-Generational Product Plan for Consolidated product portfolio.
As a Senior Product Manager, you will be responsible for:
· Leading the development and implementation of growth strategies for Consolidated Pressure Relief Valve products
· Understanding current market positions and drive product line(s) to be a global leader in the PRV market
· Meeting with customers (End User’s/EPC’s) to obtain direct Voice of Customer to understand customer’s product needs (Product gaps/NPD/Lead time, etc.)
· Prioritizing and define New Product Development (NPD) activities based on market needs and supported by great business cases
· Developing clear go-to-market guidelines by sales region/industry segment, to maximize profitable growth. Identifying adjacent markets growing market share and expand SAS
· Identifying and drive cost reduction activities with Engineering, Configuration Management, Sourcing and Manufacturing
· Working with Sales, Regional Commercial teams and Aftermarket teams to develop and implement aftermarket and channel strategies
· Working with Marketing/Communications to develop materials, programs and support for products. Evaluating product competitiveness by assessing competitors’ strengths and weaknesses
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
· Have a Bachelor in “STEM” Majors, demonstrable solid experience in Product Management
· Have minimum 10 years experience with Pressure Relief Valve Product Lines
· Have an understanding of business fundamentals and financials, functional impact to the business, including supply chain and commercial activities
· Have knowledge of PRV markets, customers, and regional requirements including awareness of Technical Regulations & Standards
· Be able to lead a team and work cross-functionally/collaboratively. Flexible for international travel up to 30% to visit customers and partners
· Have great analytical skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills both in English and Chinese
