Senior Product Manager – Private and Public Cloud Solutions

Position Overview:
Join us as our next Senior Product Manager and make a significant impact on the future of secure application services. We are looking for a hands-on candidate to contribute to and grow A10’s Virtual and Container solutions for Application Delivery, CGNAT (Carrier Grade NAT), and DDoS protection in both public and private cloud environments.

The Ideal Candidate:

Has experience in designing, developing, deploying, or operating Application Delivery services, CGN, or DDoS solutions for large service providers, web scalers, or enterprisesIs a product evangelist, promoting solutions to A10 customers, channels, sales, and marketing while collaborating with the engineering team to define and deliver product roadmapsPossesses a strong understanding of networking and security concepts in public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) or private cloud technologies (such as OpenStack) and container platforms (like RedHat OpenShift or open-source Kubernetes)

Key Responsibilities:

Lead customer engagement by presenting A10’s Cloud Application Delivery Services, CGN, and DDoS roadmap during executive briefings and customer interactions focused on private cloud use cases (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift, OpenStack)Drive customer engagements in hybrid cloud deployments involving application delivery, next-gen WAF, and DDoS solutionsExpand the use cases of A10’s container technologies (controller and data plane solutions) at scaleCollaborate with field personnel to understand customer requirements and use cases, then relay this information to engineering (DevOps/QA) via PRDs and Jira requestsWork with solutions architects and technical product marketing to create technical solution briefs and collateral to empower sales and field engineersPartner with product marketing and sales operations to launch products and solutions, facilitating customer adoptionDrive product priorities, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market strategiesDevelop organic and inorganic product roadmaps with a 6 to 12 month outlook

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science with at least 5 years of experience in Networking and Security TechnologiesPrior experience in a technical role, such as engineering, sales engineering, technical assistance, or technical marketingIn-depth technical knowledge of L4-7 networking, network security, web security, and automationDomain expertise in IP networking, particularly in data center networking, application delivery controllers (ADC), firewalls, and API-based automation tools (like Terraform and Ansible)Familiarity with public cloud networking technologies and managed container solutions (e.g., AKS, EKS) and/or private cloud technologies (e.g., RedHat OpenStack, OpenShift)Ability to simplify complex tasks and translate these ideas into practical solutions for complex products

Desired Skills:

Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment with geographically dispersed team membersCapacity to thrive in a dynamic environment requiring multitasking and content switchingStrong oral and written communication skills, including technical writing proficiency in EnglishAbility to work independently while defining initial goals and addressing complex issuesExcellent understanding of the industry landscape, including competitors and partnersHighly proficient in tools and techniques deployed in IT solutions on public cloud platforms
