Senior Product Manager
Job Description:

The Opportunity   

Ecommerce Product Managers at Workhuman live at the intersection of business and technology. strategy, customer excellence, and execution to identify, prioritize, and deliver high-value product features to our customers. The ideal candidate has with deep expertise in delivering solutions at scale. They possess a comprehensive understanding of market trends, customer needs, and how that impacts business objectives. They lead the product strategy, collaborate with stakeholders, and make critical decisions to guide the product's success. The role will interface at many levels and with various cross-functional teams across the company including engineering, user research, design, analytics, and marketing, to ensure the product's success in the market.   

**Please note this is a hybrid role, requiring at least two days a week onsite in our (brand new!) office in Framingham, MA.**

The skills you bring:   

Business Minded: You take the time to intimately understand commercial dynamics of your product and exactly how your roadmap is expected to influence those dynamics. When you release something you’re eager to see how your work is impacting the business and by how much. 

Native Experimenter: You love running experiments because you’ve found that its one of the best ways to learn and prove ideas. You have a strong POV on the experimentation process and you embrace what the data is telling you. You’re skilled at interpreting the results and leading discussions about what to do next with your cross functional team and stakeholder partners. 

Data Driven - You fuel your decision making and strategy formulation with data and you account for measurement into your projects. You hold yourself and yourself and cross-functional team accountable to the results your decisions generate. 

You Seek Leading Indicators - whether its an experiment to run, an analysis, usability test, or product research you are seek leading indicators to support your commitment to a decision, feature, strategy etc… 

Talented Communicator - With a wide range of audiences you are able to oscillate between presenting a high level strategy to reviewing acceptance criteria with your development partners. 

Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong capability to analyze data, understand metrics, and derive actionable insights. Proficient in problem-solving and making data-driven decisions.  

Customer-Centric Mindset: Strong focus on user experience and customer satisfaction. Skilled in empathizing with users, understanding their needs, and translating those needs into product decisions.  

One-team mindset: you rally your cross functional team to deliver and you celebrate your wins together. 

Technical Proficiency: While not necessarily needing to be an expert in coding, having a solid understanding of the technologies and platforms relevant to data products is crucial. This includes familiarity with data analytics tools, databases, and potentially machine learning concepts.  

  

Achievements:   

8+ years working as a Product Manager/Owner in an Agile/Scrum product development environment.  

Demonstrated experience in product management, defining a strategy and leading a cross functional group of engineers, designers to deliver measurable results. 

Proven experience developing a roadmap working from high-level strategic direction. 

Demonstrated experience in supporting product initiatives that are large scale in terms of customer base, complexity of problems solved, scope of functionality offered, etc. 

Experience in creating net new products and the go-to market process to introduce them and drive adoption.
