Position Summary:  

The Sr Product Manager – Automation and Intralogistics at Regal Rexnord will be part of a team focused on driving sustainable growth within strategic industries for Automation Solutions product lines. You’ll be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans, ensuring product excellence, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet customer needs.  You must be passionate about innovation with purpose, customer success, and continuous improvement to be fully successful in this role.

This category leader will have a strong background in intralogistics and automation with a focus on conveyance, automation and material handling solutions.  The candidate will be familiar with operations requirements in parcel, automated warehouse and intralogistics operations.

Location:  This is a hybrid position and located in Randolph WI, Oshkosh WI, Milwaukee, WI or Chicago, IL.

Major Responsibilities: 

Product Strategy and Roadmap:

Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy for conveying technologies that allow growth in IntralogisticsDefine and execute differentiated product roadmaps aligned with business objectives to deliver solutions for highly automated environmentsIdentify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to influence the product roadmap

Product Lifecycle Management:

Manage the entire product lifecycle, from concept to end-of-lifeDefine pricing strategies and product positioningMonitor product performance, analyze sales data, and recommend improvements.

Product Development:

Ability to translate market analysis and voice of the customer into executable marketing specifications for new product developmentCollaborate with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to design, develop, and launch new products.Complete market and product requirement documentation for new product concepts.Ensure timely execution of product development projects.Familiarity with gated NPD product development

Market Analysis and Customer Insights:

Conduct market research to understand customer pain points, preferences, and emerging trends.Gather insights from customers, sales teams, and industry experts to inform product decisions.Monitor competitive offerings and adjust product strategies accordinglyIdentify threats and substitutes to product categories and develop strategies to mitigate impact

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Work closely with sales, marketing, operations, and customer service teams.Provide product training and support to internal stakeholders.

Quality and Compliance:

Ensure product compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and certifications.Address quality issues promptly and drive continuous improvement

Experience and Skills Required:

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or BusinessMinimum 5-7 years of relevant B2B product management and new product marketing/ commercialization experience in the industrial manufacturing industryBackground in industrial automation, robotics and warehouse operationsWillingness to travel 20-30%Position will have direct reports, comfort leading and mentoring a team supporting growth and development

Preferred Experience:

Knowledge of product/container handling components, systems, industries a plusExperience building new product channel preferredMasters of Business Administration or equivalent preferred
