Senior Product Manager

The Supply Partner Experience team harnesses quantitative and qualitative inputs to optimize our supply partners’ success in Expedia Group’s marketplaces, from listing onboarding and readiness, to coaching, revenue management, as well as day-to-day business and guest management activities.  

 

The Product Manager for this role will enable our supply partners to deliver promised travel products and services on the critical path for all lodging bookings in our marketplaces, which not only helps our supply partners, but travelers and Expedia Group. This high-impact role requires strong cross-functional collaboration with partner, traveler, and marketplace trust teams to build personalized, customer-focused experiences. It leverages automation and recovery solutions to ensure quality, even when things don’t go as planned. 

 

We are looking for an impact-driven Product Manager to join the Supply Partner Experience team to deliver post-booking experiences that empower suppliers to deliver high-quality, personalized experiences, leverages automation to handle changes when things don’t go as planned and enables them to maximize revenue and foster repeat business.

What you’ll do: 

Define the vision and strategy for the Lodging supply partner (Hotel and Vacation Rentals) post-booking experience to booking management features and services for all lodging supply partners across our marketplace, empowering them to deliver the accommodations and services travelers expect for a smooth, hassle-free stay. 

Lead the development of a strategic product vision that addresses both short-term and long-term business and user requirements. Drive the creation of a strategic roadmap, communicating the narrative effectively.

Work closely with engineering teams to make critical trade-offs, ensuring the product is financially viable and meets customer needs.  

Utilize knowledge of Expedia Group's structure and key stakeholders to anticipate and plan for product strategy dependencies. Make informed business impact projections that balance immediate and future goals, collaborating with finance to set revenue targets. Innovate within the product portfolio to influence business strategy and market trends. 

Conduct comprehensive market research and clearly articulate the product's value proposition. Develop hypotheses linking product performance to industry trends. 

Identify and resolve friction in the customer journey, align product goals between engineering and design teams, and conduct user-centric product validations. 

Establish and review product success metrics regularly. Design and analyze product experiments, deriving insights for informed decision-making. Create and maintain product metric dashboards for cross-functional use. 

Prioritize features and initiatives based on business strategy and market dynamics, owning product requirements and guiding the product development lifecycle. 

Earn trust and manage expectations across the organization, fostering an inclusive and high-performing team environment.

Communicate persuasively across the organization, tailoring messages for impact and facilitating meaningful discussions about the product. 

  

Who you are: 

5+ years of product management experience driving and measuring engagement in front-end marketplace products. Ideal candidate has experience B2B, Supplier experiences. 

Bachelor's or Master’s degree; or equivalent related professional experience  

Strong strategic thinking skills with a customer-centric approach. 

Robust analytical skills, with the ability to drive data-informed decisions. 

Proven ability to conduct experimentation and user segmentation analysis to identify and target the right user with the right experience to drive outcomes.

Outstanding influencing, decision-making and collaboration skills across diverse teams, including product, engineering, research, design, analytics, data science and marketing to achieve company goals.

Excited by the accountability that comes with leading a large portfolio of products 

Effective ability to communicate abstract ideas at a highest level and can translate them into detailed user stories 

Expertise in breaking down problems to build solutions incrementally 

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
